As President and founder of Marshall Contracting
LLC, I love building log homes.   I began my career in
the housing industry as a crew member for a log
home builder here in Michigan's Thumb. Over the
years I've come to deeply appreciate the unique
characteristics and qualities of log homes as well as
the people that enjoy the unique atmosphere that
living in a log home provides.

When the builder I worked for moved into
retirement and closed his company, I became a
licensed builder and founded Marshall Contracting
LLC with the foundational conviction to "build it
strong, build it safe and build it to last a lifetime."
This philosophy dovetails perfectly with my passion
for building log homes. And with the increasing
demand for sustainable, efficient, safe and long
lasting living quarters, the inherently "green"
characteristics of log homes are strengthening the
appeal of the log home lifestyle.
